Company Profile

RBC - COMPANY PROFILE

RBC Constructions opened its doors in July 2000 and was incorporated in March 2001.   It began after a friendship forged on the football field developed into a business partnership.

The company philosophy is simple:  To maintain the highest level of integrity, quality, service and stability.

RBC specialises in the construction of custom homes, and has a proven track record in building on difficult and sloping sites that other builders can’t handle.

Managing Director Simon Craig and Business partner Glenn Brown have more than 30 years experience in construction between them and know the industry backwards.  They make building a new home or renovating an enjoyable experience by instilling in clients the confidence that the job will be done on time, on budget, and with minimum fuss.

Simon and Glenn pride themselves on their attention to detail, and set themselves apart from other building companies by making a commitment to be at your service throughout the construction phase.

Rest assured that during construction a designated foreman will be on your site every day, and weekly or fortnightly meetings will be held throughout construction to ensure peace of mind.

RBC is well aware of the importance in staying cost competitive and Simon and Glenn stand strong on quality. They won’t cut corners when it comes to the structural specification of your home, and they use proven construction techniques and principals regardless of current industry standards.  Meeting the needs of an increasingly construction-savvy client base is a challenge which RBC relishes.

The company’s commitment to a job never wavers, and RBC’s after-handover service guarantees peace of mind when the job’s done.

The company has an outstanding and proven track record with referrals from previous clients and word of mouth its only form of advertising.

RBC employs 24 full-time carpenters and apprentices and has a strong commitment to training with at least two apprentices taken on annually. Simon and Glenn seek to
foster an exciting workplace for all employees and subcontractors while providing an opportunity for professional growth and personal achievement.

The Mt Carmel Fete is the main fundraising and community event on the Schools calendar each year and as such it is a time when the whole school community gets together to have some fun and raise much needed funds for the improvement of the schools’ facilities.   In 2008 the objective was to raise money to improve the Drop Off and Pick Up area at Mt Carmel with the ultimate goal to keep our children safe.

The generous support of RBC Constructions, and in particular Simon Craig, is un paralleled in many ways.   Not only do they provide a large financial contribution to the running of the bar for the school, but Simon and his team also provide much needed labour resources during set up and take down of the fete which is greatly appreciated.

On behalf of the Fete Committee I would like to not only thank RBC Constructions and Simon Craig for their support over the last two years, but also commend them on their ongoing commitment and positive spirit in which they throw themselves into the school community.
